Ed is a mercury music prize nominated songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer. As well as his solo career he has written and produced Sophie Elis Bextor, Paloma Faith and Marianne Faithful. He’s supported many artists including The Afghan Wigs and most recently with Patti Smith at the Royal Albert Hall. He works now mostly from his Wolf Cabin Studios. In this episode Ed talks about sleeping in rubbish on the floor of a bus and how working through the night on songs has changed over the years. He also lets us into his mad imagination and making up bedtime stories.
